Niche CrossFit is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic CrossFit Coach to join the team! Niche CrossFit is a gym focused on member integration and community, education of the “why” and not just the “how, and the continuous upskilling of our members. Niche prides itself on providing a welcoming environment to everyone, regardless of where they are starting their fitness journey, as well as movement quality and mobility. We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives on the success of others, and is committed to helping our members make the workout the best hour of their day!

What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of CrossFit coaching experience (Preferred but not essential).
- CrossFit Level 1 certification (Level 2 or other relevant certifications are a bonus!).
- First Aid qualified and current.
- Working with children check.
- A passion for CrossFit and helping others succeed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, motivating, and energetic coaching style.
- A coach who wants to be involved in the community and train alongside members.
- A creative approach to scaling and alternative movements for ability levels and members returning from injury.
- Self-motivated towards self-education.
- Eye for detail on movement standards and quality.
Additional Optional Credentials and Experience:
- Certificate III and IV in Fitness
Experience in other fitness disciplines or specialized certifications (e.g., weightlifting, gymnastics, mobility, nutrition, endurance sports, kettlebells, strength and conditioning).
Responsibilities:
- Lead high-quality CrossFit classes that inspire and challenge members of all fitness levels.
- Provide personalized coaching and feedback to improve members’ performance.
- Promote safe and effective exercise techniques and proper form.
- Build strong relationships within our community to foster a welcoming and supportive environment.

What to expect during your trial class?
This session is our chance to learn as much about you as we can! Prior to the session, we’ll sit down and have a chat with you to discuss your past experiences with health, fitness, sports, and injuries, your current lifestyle, schedule, eating habits and sleep.
During the session, we can apply what we’ve learnt about you to ensure you get the most out of the session whilst having an absolute blast! It also gives us the opportunity to see where you’re at in terms of movement’s patterns and mobility.
Loved your trial..? So WHAT’S NEXT?
Our Getting Started Sessions will provide you with a solid kick-start to your CrossFit training. These 1-on-1 sessions introduce you to the fundamental body-weight, barbell and accessory movements that come up in our regular classes so you feel comfortable and safe to jump in.
The number of Getting Started Sessions that you do will be determined by your coach, and will often depend on your level of experience and confidence with the movements. Our job is to get you moving, and therefore, looking good whilst you train, so enjoy the learning process!
