BUILD THE FOUNDAtiON OF YOUR TRAINING
Gymnastics is an activity and sport requiring physical strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, balance and control. Performing gymnastics-inspired conditioning and basic drills provides a strong foundation for gains in overall fitness, mobility and functional strength, as well as improvements in sports performance.
There a two types of gymNASTY classes available and 6 class times on the timetable each week.
1 hour sessions typically focused on one or two skill elements.
These 1 hour sessions typically focus on one or two skill elements typical in CrossFit workouts (i.e. muscle up progressions, handstand walking) in order to improve your understanding, body awareness and execution of these skills. The focus will remain on safe progressions, starting with basic movements and positioning, and progressing to more advanced conditioning exercises and skills. Maximum of 16 per class.
Focused on fundamental gymnastics strength training.
Here we focus on fundamental gymnastics strength training keeping movements relatively simple… make no mistake, you WILL be challenged through time under tension, loads of core work and a bit of fun sprinkled in there too. Max of 8 per class.
